The challenge

As a global Christian education nonprofit, Edify wanted to explore the opportunities presented by artificial intelligence while remaining true to its organisational values and Christian faith.

The challenge was to move beyond initial conversations about AI towards a clear, responsible approach that would help teams understand its potential, manage the risks and begin putting it into practice.

The approach

Kit worked closely with Edify to explore how AI could support its mission, developing an overall approach to responsible adoption that reflected the organisation's values.

She supported the transition from strategic thinking to practical implementation, helping the organisation begin piloting AI applications and preparing teams to use the technology confidently and responsibly.

Working collaboratively with colleagues, Kit provided strategic guidance and hands-on support tailored to Edify's needs and stage of AI adoption.

The impact

  • Established an overall approach to AI adoption aligned with Edify's values and faith.

  • Supported the introduction of practical AI pilots.

  • Began building staff understanding and capability through training and support.

  • Helped the organisation consider both the opportunities and risks of AI.

Testimonial

"Kit has been amazing at helping us think through how we want to engage with AI, while remaining true to our values including our faith. Out of that thinking she has helped us introduce an overall approach, and now begun real practical support as we pilot some work and seek to train our teams to be able to take advantage of the good AI can bring, while also managing against the negatives. It's been great working with Kit; she really felt like one of the team rather than an external consultant. I would recommend her to any NGO wanting to engage more with AI, wherever they are on that journey."
