Meet Kit Powney
Founder and Director, Flint & Arrow
Kit is a strategy and transformation leader with 15 years of experience in the charity sector, spanning digital transformation, AI, innovation and organisational change.
Previously Head of Digital Maturity at Tearfund, she led the development of its organisation wide digital transformation roadmap and AI strategy. She has also held senior leadership roles at The Salvation Army and worked with charities and global alliances of different sizes.
Recognised as one of the Top 3 Charity Leaders in the UK AI 100 in 2025, Kit combines strategic expertise with hands-on experience of leading teams and delivering complex change.
She sits on the advisory board for the MA in Media, Campaigning & Social Change at the University of Westminster, regularly speaks at conferences and events across the charity sector, and is a guest lecturer and charity trustee.
